The statistics are frightening: 1 out of every 20 people is without a home, and a much larger percentage of residents go through each day without enough money to pay for adequate food and other basic necessities. Fortunately, compassionate and informed citizens, such as yourself, understand the reality of these problems and feel compelled to contribute to the solution.
